If you have a second-generation Moto G, prepare yourself for Google’s latest Android software. Motorola is currently in the process of rolling out Android 5.0.2 Lollipop to select devices, and it’s going to fix a whole bunch of problems that have been plaguing new Moto G handsets since Lollipop’s initial release.

Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface for Android is universally mocked for being bloated and slow, but it would appear the South Korean company is finally set to do something about it. Sources say it won’t just be overhauling its hardware for the upcoming Galaxy S6, but also its software as well as it aims to deliver an experience as smooth as pure Android.

Motorola was among the first OEMs to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the 2nd generation Moto X, at least in the United States. However, since then, the company has taken its own sweet time in rolling out the update to other regions of the world and to its other devices.
