Verizon Wireless has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will finally get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, more than a month after it was released by Google. The software update will be pushed to Verizon customers in different phases; read on to find out how it’ll work.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch in the United Kindgom without a new eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, the Korean company has confirmed. It will instead be equipped with a 1.9GHz quad-core processor that will play nicely with the U.K.’s forthcoming 4G LTE networks.

On Tuesday, several members of the CyanogenMod group — all from the team that develops for Samsung devices — confirmed that they would not be developing custom CyanogenMod ROMs for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. The announcement led many to believe that CyanogenMod wouldn’t be coming to Samsung’s new flagship at all, but that possibility hasn’t been ruled out just yet.

CyanogenMod has since issued a statement on its Google+ page to say that it hasn’t ruled out support for the Galaxy S4 just yet, and it won’t be providing us with an official stance on the device until it launches.

The Facebook app has today been updated to add a few handy new features, including the ability to change profile pictures, and hide or report stories in your news feed.

If you recall, the Droid Charge was one of the original 4G LTE devices on Verizon’s network, but it appeared to some users that it had become abandoned by Verizon, which hasn’t issued any updates for it in a while. However, the device is now due to receive an update in the near future to Android’s build FP8.
