After hordes of rumors circulated the web, Korean publications confirmed yesterday that both the Samsung Galaxy Note III and the LG Optimus G2 will be the first devices on the market to pack 3GB of RAM. The increased amount of random access memory will enable the devices to handle multitasking much more seamlessly, in turn boosting performance by quite a sizable amount.

The fine folks at Lucky Frame (Bad Hotel, Pugs Luv Beats) have just announced a brand new game, this one coming to iPad and Android July 16th, with a desktop version for Mac and PC soon thereafter.

While there’s a definite shortage of pugs in Gentlemen!, there is definitely a surfeit of pigeons. We don’t know a whole lot about Motorola’s upcoming flagship phone, the Moto X, other than that it will be made in the U.S. and feature new technology that has been in the works for years.

Now a report has shed some more light on what the Moto X will offer. Customers will be able to customize the look of the handset more than any other Android phone to date, and the device will be environment-aware thanks to some special hardware sensors.

Details are short on the ground, but The New York Times’ Brian X. Chen is reporting on Twitter that Samsung has purchaseds Boxee, maker of the Boxee Box, one of the Apple TV’s main competitors.
