Android-4-3-Galaxy-Note-II

AT&T has officially announced that its Galaxy Note II variant is the latest in a long line of Samsung devices to receive the much-anticipated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. As you’d expect, this upgrade brings a mass of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations, however, it also incorporates an updated version of the TouchWiz user interface together with support for the Galaxy Gear.

HTC-One-black

Yesterday, I wrote that Verizon had finally posted the official update documents for the upcoming build 2.10.605.1. Android 4.3 update for the HTC One on its website, and today tons of reports have been flying in confirming that Big Red branded handsets have already started to receive the much-anticipated upgrade. In addition to the latest build of 4.3 Jelly Bean, the update also brings a truckload of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations for the handset, as well as the implementation of a couple of new features.

Dead Trigger 2

Czech Republic-based Madfinger Games just released a huge update for Dead Trigger 2 on the iTunes App Store and Google Play, just two months after its initial release.

The first person zombie shooter already has over 10 million downloads, and this massive Christmas update, with its new additions and added zombie-killing gadgets, will nearly double the game content for all.

In addition, the Madfinger team has updated the original Dead Trigger with support for new devices so even more folks can join in on the fun.

Amazon-Kindle

Amazon is gearing up to finally launch its first Kindle smartphone during the first half of 2014. That’s according to supply chain sources who claim the retail giant has recently struck a deal with Primax Electronics to secure its compact camera modules (CCMs) for the new device.

Xperia-Z-Ultra-Android-4-4-2

I wrote about some of the major flaws affecting the Google Play Edition Sony Xperia Z Ultra on Monday, but fortunately, these are being fixed with a new Android 4.4.2 update rolling out today. The release weighs in at just over 441MB, and it comes with build number KOT49H.
