Google has released its earnings for the second fiscal quarter, and the numbers aren’t that great. Revenues were $14.11 billion—down from Wall Street’s $14.45 billion consensus. The company brought in a profit of $3.23 billion, which is actually down from $3.24 billion this time last year.

“Google had a great quarter with over $14 billion in revenue – up 19% year-on-year,” said Larry Page, CEO of Google. “The shift from one screen to multiple screens and mobility creates tremendous opportunity for Google. With more devices, more information, and more activity online than ever, the potential to improve people’s lives even more is immense.”

HTC has at last officially announced the smaller version of its flagship HTC One, and if you haven’t already guessed it… It’s called the One Mini! The device is a smaller, slightly less powerful edition of its flagship variant, but it still packs most of the unique features that made the original One so popular.

Google is expected to unveil Android 4.3 Jelly Bean alongside some new hardware at a media event next Wednesday, and 4.3 has leaked out into the wild yet again. Android Central got its hands on the upcoming software by means of the Nexus 4. Android 4.3 was recently spotted on a Galaxy S4 as well, and this looks like the same (or a very similar) build.

Since this isn’t a major Android release, the changes aren’t exactly jaw-dropping. But there are a few features worth noting, like low-energy Bluetooth support and OpenGL ES 3.0. There’s a new ‘always-on’ option for Wi-Fi-based location services. The camera app has been redesigned, and there’s a new call dialer that intelligently suggests phone numbers while you type. During testing, it was noticed that 4.3 “much improved touch sensitivity to the Nexus 4.”
