At IFA in Berlin, Samsung is gearing up to announce its new Galaxy Note 4 and a number of other new devices that may include its first virtual reality headset. At IFA 2014 in Berlin, Asus finally announced the ZenWatch, its first wearable powered by Android Wear. Crafted from high-quality materials using traditional watchmaking techniques, it wants to be the prettiest smartwatch you can buy, and also one of the most sophisticated.

HTC has teamed up with Google to give selected smartphone owners up to 100GB of Google Drive storage absolutely free for two years. The offer applies to those with a One M8, Desire 816, and the Desire 610 — plus a number of popular devices that were launched last year. But there are some caveats.

Facebook today became the first third-party Android app (not build by Google) to surpass 1 billion installs from Google Play. It’s even more popular than a number of Google’s own apps, including Hangouts, Google Search, and even Chrome.

Reddit today launched an awesome new app on iOS that allows users to enjoy its hugely popular “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) threads in the easiest way possible on a mobile device, and the company has confirmed that Android users will get their own version later this week.
