Two months later than expected, AT&T has today started pushing out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat over-the-air update to all of its carrier-branded LG G2 flagship smartphones located in the United States. In addition to the latest build of the open-source operating system, this upgrade also improves battery efficiency, enhances the Knock On feature and, finally, increases the processing speed by a whopping 17%.

AT&T is currently pushing out the hefty Android 4.4.2 over-the-air (OTA) update to all HTC One devices in the U.S. This upgrade brings the latest build of KitKat and Sense 5.5 to the handset, complete with a multitude of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, together with a new charging animation for when the handset is switched off.

Verizon has officially started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update to all its carrier-branded Moto X variants currently located in the United States. In addition to the hefty bump up from Jelly Bean to KitKat, this particular upgrade brings stability improvements for 3G and 4G connectivity, as well as a handful of bug fixes and optimizations for the built-in camera application.

Google unveiled the revamped version of its flagship 7-inch tablet, the Nexus 7, back in June, and a month later the device was available from the Play Store for $229. However, if you haven’t had the opportunity to pick one up before now, it may be of interest to you to know that for one day only the popular U.S. retailer, Woot, is offering $60 and $70 reductions on factory reconditioned Nexus 7 slates.

LG has officially announced that its first curved self-healing smartphone, the G Flex, will be available to purchase from Rogers’ on-line shop or in any of bricks-and-mortar stores located in Canada starting this Spring. The press release also includes a statement from the operator notifying potential customers that the handset will deliver its exclusive ‘full-speed LTE connection’ – which utilizes both the 2100 and 2600MHz spectrum for data speeds of up to 150mbps.
