The revolutionary new parking app, Parking Karma, has made its exclusive debut on Android. The main purpose of this application is to help drivers find free parking spaces in their cities as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

On Thursday, we printed two images taken from an FCC filing for a Chromecast unit with its casing removed, we didn’t have much to go on at the time in terms of specific components other than the Marvell DE3005 chip, and the Azurewave chip which handles Wi-Fi connectivity at 2GHz but now that customer’s have finally started receiving the units they pre-ordered, curiosity has got the better of one company who has now disassembled the unit in order to have a detailed poke around the device’s hardware.

The AppRadio for Android app, an exclusive feature of Pioneer’s in-dash car receivers, has just received an update on the Play Store, bringing compatibility to another 16 Android devices. This companion app enables users to control dozens of apps directly from its in-dash receiver screen. The update brings the total amount of compatible Android devices to an impressive 42, at present.

Google Hangouts received a minor update on the Play Store earlier this week, which is only now just rolling out to its users. This upgrade to version 1.1 brings some new emoji’s, bug fixes and the inclusion of some “butter” to Hangouts, in an effort to make it run faster and increase the fluidity of the app.

We’re starting to catch sight of the new Nexus 7’s first official accessories less than a week after the device was announced.
