As from today, Samsung’s latest Android-powered tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition, is available to purchase from several “major retailers” in Canada. Unfortunately, Canadians will only be able to get their hands on the Wi-Fi-only octa-core Exynos version of the slate at present, but rumor has it that the 4G model will not be too far behind and should be well its way within the next few months.

Last week we reported that Google updated its case offerings for its flagship tablet for 2013, the Nexus 7, by adding two new color variants to its official lineup of neoprene sleeves, but, unfortunately, the company gave us no indication of a launch date for these new accessories.

Yesterday, the Dixons Group, officially announced Advent’s first budget-friendly Tegra 4 powered tablet, the Tegra Note, which will ship running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean when it launches in the United Kingdom on November 15 and can be pre-ordered today with a rather competitive price tag of £179.99.

AT&T has officially launched its popular 4G LTE service in an another additional 14 new markets within the United States. The announcement was made in a series of press releases on the carriers website.

The popular U.S. operator, Verizon, has officially announced its first budget-friendly low-end 7-inch tablet, the Elipsis 7, which will ship running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The slate will be available to purchase from tomorrow Thursday, November 7, with the rather affordable price tag of $250 from the carrier’s official website.
