Just days after bringing podcasts to Play Music, Google is making them available right inside its Search app for Android, which means it’s now easier than ever to find and listen to new shows.

Starting today, finding a podcast on Android is as easy as opening the Google Search app and searching for its title. Within the results, you’ll see the last three episodes of the show, and you’ll be able to listen to each one inside the Search app.

Even after you’ve closed the app and started doing other things, the podcast will continue to play in the background until it’s finished, and you’ll see playback controls in the notification drawer for pausing and skipping back and forth.

You’ll also see playback controls at the bottom of the Search app while you’re inside it. And unlike podcast support in Play Music — which is only available for users in the U.S. right now — podcasts can be found inside the Search app globally.

“Today’s update is just one more way that we’re working to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for right in the Google App,” Google says. The update comes three months after Google made it possible to install Android apps directly from web searches.
