If you like small smartphones that are just as spectacular as the latest phablets, Sony’s Compact lineup really is your only option. And thanks to Amazon and Best Buy, the latest in the series — Xperia Z5 Compact — is now more affordable than ever.

Sony completely fluffed its launch of the Xperia Z5 family in the U.S. Not only did it make customers wait four months for them and then launched them without fingerprint scanners, but it then announced a new Xperia X series just weeks later.

But that doesn’t make the Xperia Z5 Compact a bad smartphone. In fact, its high-end Snapdragon 810 processor, 23-megapixel rear-facing camera, expandable storage, and water-resistant design make it the best smartphone you can buy with a sub-5-inch display.

It’s even better when you can get it at a cut price.

Right now, Amazon and Best Buy are offering it for just $399.99 — which is $100 off its regular retail price. It’s unclear how long the discounts will last, so you should probably take advantage of them sooner rather than later if you’re interested.

The Xperia Z5 Compact comes with Lollipop pre-installed, but Sony has already begun its Marshmallow rollout. In addition to the specifications above, the handset boasts a 4.6-inch 720p display, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
