If you’re still waiting for Android 6.0 Marshmallow to come to your Samsung Galaxy smartphone, you’re missing out on a whole bunch of great new features. But you don’t have to miss out on the new look.

Samsung’s new icons and user interface changes can be had on Lollipop-powered handsets thanks to the new TouchWiz 6.0 theme.

There’s no way to side-load features like Doze and Google Now on Tap, so you have no choice but to wait for Marshmallow if you want to get your hands on those things. Thankfully, Samsung is rolling it out to its latest devices… but it is taking its time.

If you’re fed up with waiting, you can at least get the new look — complete with “squircle” icons, the redesign Quick Settings panel and notification drawer, and the new Phone dialler and menus — right now. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap Themes
  3. Tap More Themes
  4. Tap More, then Search for “TouchWiz 6.0”
  5. Tap the theme, then tap Download
  6. Tap Apply once the download is complete

Note there are two TouchWiz 6.0 themes to choose from — one of which has black menus for those who prefer the darker look and want to save battery life.

You will now have Samsung’s Marshmallow look, including one of its new Galaxy S7 wallpapers. That should keep you going until you get the actual Marshmallow upgrade — or get fed up of waiting and buy a Galaxy S7.
