Leaked Samsung guide spills all you need to know about Marshmallow
Unless you live in South Korea or Poland, you won’t have received a Marshmallow update from Samsung yet. But thanks to this leaked employee guide, you can learn all there is to know about the company’s latest software upgrade before it hits your handset.
Samsung’s guide, which comes in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, was created to teach its customer service consultants all about Marshmallow for Galaxy devices. It highlights all of changes and features the upgrade brings.
That includes Marshmallow’s new app permissions system, Doze, dynamic audio and video rendering, MIDI protocol support, and more. There’s also a long list of enhancements and design changes to TouchWiz, Samsung’s own user interface.
The guide is specifically for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge — which are getting Marshmallow first — but much of it will also apply to the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5. You can download it by clicking the source link below.
