Motorola has kicked off its Android 6.0 Marshmallow soak test for the 2014 Moto G. The update includes Google’s latest security patches, and it is expected to make its official debut soon.

The soak test update, which was confirmed on the XDA Developers forum, weighs in at 461MB. It includes all of the changes and improvements you would expect to get with a Marshmallow upgrade, including Doze, the new app permissions, and Now on Tap.

Providing all goes well, this update should roll out to all Moto G handsets within a couple of weeks. Any issues could hold up its official rollout, of course, but based on Motorola’s track record with soak tests, these things usually go pretty well.

If you’ve seen Marshmallow on your Moto G already, be sure to let us know about it down in the comments.
