When you get a WhatsApp message you know you’ll need to find later, you either have to copy and paste it into a note or screenshot it to avoid having to search for it later. But not anymore.

The latest WhatsApp beta for Android lets you star important messages to make them easy to access at any time — and you can download the APK now to make the update early.

How many times have you been sent an address, phone number, or other important piece of information in a WhatsApp message, only to lose it in a conversation thread? Now you can star those important messages and find them quickly and easily in the new “Starred messages” section when you need them.

WhatsApp is also adding the ability to search PDFs and other documents, so you can search for keywords to find exactly what you’re looking for in a flash.

These features are only available in that latest WhatsApp beta (version 2.12.338) for now, but if you don’t want to wait for the update to rollout to Google Play, you can download the APK and install it manually from the WhatsApp website using the source link below.
