If you’re planning to buy a OnePlus 2 or the new OnePlus X, but you’re worried your butter fingers will drop it, then OnePlus’ new accidental damage warranties are exactly what you need.

Available in one- and two-year options, the plans provide coverage for accidental and liquid damage, with worldwide coverage for claims and a “worry-free claim process.”

“We don’t want to just introduce new products, but are always exploring how to improve the overall user experience,” OnePlus explains on its blog.

“Our commitment and drive go beyond selling a device. Backing that up with stronger customer care is a core goal at OnePlus, and now we’re taking the next step.”

That step is new coverage plans called On-Guard in Europe, and B2X OnePlus Service2 and Protect2 in India, which are available today, with prices starting at €39.99 for 12 months of coverage, and €64.99 for 24 months.

With these plans, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X owners will be covered against breakages, including broken screens, liquid damage, vandalism, and more. Should they break their device, they can file a claim 24 hours a day to get their device repaired or replaced.

OnePlus also promises that similar plans will be available in the U.S. and Canada soon.

There is one big caveat, though: These coverage plans can be applied alongside the purchase of a new OnePlus handset, or within 15 days of purchase. Existing users who have had their handsets longer than that are not eligible, unfortunately.
