Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory images are now available for Nexus devices, giving users the opportunity to update manually rather than wait for the over-the-air release.

The update comes with build number MRA58K, and you can download it right now for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, and Nexus Player.

These images must be flashed manually, so you’ll need the fastboot tool installed on your PC. You can use either the compiled version from the Android Open Source Project, or the one that comes bundled with the Android SDK.

You can then use fastboot to unlock your Nexus’ bootloader if you haven’t already, and to flash your Marshmallow image. For step-by-step instructions on the flashing process, you can find Google’s installation guide on the Developers website via the source link below.

You’ll also find the Marshmallow factory images you need there.
