HTC has confirmed that it will begin rolling out its first Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates before the end of 2015. The company has also revealed which handsets are in line to get one, so if you’re wondering whether yours will get lucky, just check the list below.

“Serving up Marshmallow sweetness real soon,” teased HTC America President Jason Mackenzie on Twitter. “Android 6.0 to start hitting HTC before the end of the year.”

First in line to get HTC’s Marshmallow upgrade is the One M9 and the One M8; both of these handsets should see it before the end of 2015. If you have the original One M7, however, I’m afraid you’re out of luck — the road ends at Lollipop.

Here’s the full list of HTC devices in line for a Marshmallow upgrade:

  • One M9
  • One M8
  • One M9+
  • One E9+
  • One E9
  • One ME
  • One E8
  • One M8 EYE
  • Butterfly 3
  • Desire 826
  • Desire 820
  • Desire 816

Strangely, there’s no mention of the One M8s here, which is essentially an updated One M8. We’re almost certain this is an oversight given that the handset is less than a year old, so don’t worry too much if you’re a One M8s owner.

There’s no word on when other devices can expect their Marshmallow updates to roll in, but we’ll likely see them released gradually throughout 2016, with flagship devices being the priority (as is always the case).
