During its big keynote on Tuesday, Google made no mention of the gold Nexus 6P that was revealed in recent leaks. That’s because you cannot buy one if you live outside Japan.

The gold Nexus 6P, which, in my opinion, is the prettiest one in the lineup, is a “Special Edition” device that will only be available in Japan, Android Police reports.

You can view the device in your local Google Store by following the source link below, but unless you’re located in Japan, you’ll see a notice that reads, “This product is unavailable in your country” — and there is no option to buy.

It’s not totally clear why Japan gets a special edition Nexus 6P that’s not available in other markets — or whether Google will bring the device to more countries later. But for now, at least, Nexus 6P is only available in aluminum, graphite, and white elsewhere.
