Motorola takes great pride in its unique Moto Maker tool, which lets users customize their devices when making their order. But as things stand, the only devices available through Moto Maker are the flagship Moto X and the Moto 360.

Now a new report claims the upcoming 2015 Moto G will also join the Moto Maker catalog and become Motorola’s first customizable midrange smartphone.

A collection images of the new Moto G have leaked out early showcasing a whole bunch of different design options. Not only are its back panels available in various different colors, but so if the metal accent on the back of the device that surrounds the camera and LED flash.

Given there are so many different options, it’s highly unlikely Motorola would put all of them on the market as readymade devices. This appears to be proof, then, that the 2015 Moto G will be the first in the series that will be available through Moto Maker.

These new images of the Moto G show exactly the same device that leaked out in late June, and they were published by trusted leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) on Twitter. Motorola is expected to make the device official in September, when the second-generation handset celebrates its first birthday.
