OnePlus this week revealed more OnePlus 2 specifications in a Reddit AMA. The good news is, Chinese startup is promising a bigger battery, a better camera, and a much-improved design.

The bad news? Its invite system is coming back.

OnePlus has already confirmed many of the OnePlus 2’s internals ahead of its official unveiling on July 27. We know it’s going to have a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, USB-C, and a fingerprint scanner that promises to be “faster than Touch ID.”

And now a new Reddit AMA has filled in a few more gaps.

In addition to a larger, 3,300mAh battery that promises almost 10% more juice, the OnePlus 2 will offer a new design that’s “a big step up” from the original OnePlus. The OnePlus 2 is actually smaller than its predecessor, but it’s expected to offer the same 5.5-inch display.

OnePlus also confirmed that the OnePlus 2’s camera has been a high-priority, so we can expect a big improvement there, too. The OnePlus One had a 13-megapixel sensor that was less than spectacular, though it did have some nice features.

It’s not all good news, though; OnePlus has also confirmed its controversial invite system will be returning for the OnePlus 2, which means the device will likely be incredibly difficult to get hold of at first. It’s unclear for now, however, how we’ll obtain those invites.

“We are firing on all cylinders at our HQ preparing to launch our second flagship device,” OnePlus says. “It’s really difficult to contain ourselves! We wish we could tell you everything about the OnePlus 2 right now, but we have to save some excitement for our launch on July 27th.”
