Samsung’s Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Tab S is “under construction” and scheduled to make its debut as early as next month, according to sources familiar with the plans.

The Galaxy Tab S, thanks mostly to its super slim design and stunning Super AMOLED display, is one of Samsung’s best Android-powered tablets. It’s available in 8.4- and 10.5-inch variants, both of which are powered by quad-core Snapdragon 800 processors, 3GB of RAM, and Adreno 330 GPUs.

Rumor has it a “Pro” model with a larger display measuring at least 12 inches in size is incoming — perhaps for Mobile World Congress next month — but one thing we can be completely sure of is a Lollipop update for the existing models.

According to the reliable SamMobile, it’s currently being built and could be available around March or April. We should hear more nearer the time, but for now, you shouldn’t expect to see a Lollipop update for your Galaxy Tab S for at least a few weeks.
