You may want to start looking elsewhere if you’ve been waiting for the Nexus 9 to come to T-Mobile, because according to a leaked internal document, the tablet’s launch has been postponed indefinitely.

Here’s the full memo, which was obtained by TmoNews:

Updated: Google Nexus 9 Launch Postponed (Retail, TPR, TPRi, EDPC)

Update: The launch of the Google Nexus 9 has been postponed. This article will be updated with the launch date once it is confirmed.

T-Mobile will launch the Google Nexus 9 on a date to be determined, which will be available on the web or through Ship-to (Direct Fulfillment) in HSO. This HTC device features a beautiful 8.9″ screen and a 64-bit 2.3GHz dual processor.

For now, it’s unclear when T-Mobile will get the Nexus 9, or what is causing the hold up. It seems unlikely at this point that the carrier won’t get it at some point, but stranger things have happened. If you’ve been waiting to get the Nexus 9 on T-Mobile, then, you may be better off buying it directly from Google, or using another carrier.

T-Mobile hasn’t had great luck with Google’s latest Nexus devices. It was forced to delay the launch of the Nexus 6 by a week last month, and when the handset finally went on sale, the company struggled to meet demand and get handsets to customers on time. Perhaps it is looking to avoid a repeat of these issues with the Nexus 9.
