In case you needed proof that HTC is hard at work on bringing Android 5.0 Lollipop to its users, these screenshots give us an early glimpse at the Taiwanese company’s take on Google’s latest software. As you might expect, this is Lollipop with Sense 6, and it will already look pretty familiar to you.

HTC’s Sense user interface is widely regarded as one of the best on Android, so many have been looking forward to seeing how the company will modify it to meet the Material Design overhaul throughout Lollipop. It has definitely made some nice improvements, but they don’t appear to be groundbreaking ones.

Lock screen notifications and the improved multitasking view are definitely the most significant, while the Quick Settings menu looks a lot like it did before. HTC has also appears to be sticking with its existing icon set for now, though of course, that could change before its Lollipop upgrades go public.

Lollipop with Sense certainly doesn’t look disappointing; it was already a good-looking interface, so its winning formula didn’t need much improvement anyway. But if you were hoping for a major overhaul for Android 5.0, you may be a little disappointed this time around.
