Amazon’s Android-powered Fire TV was making headlines over the weekend after becoming the first and only device to offer the new Flappy Birds Family game, and to ensure it doesn’t slip out of the limelight, the retail giant just rolled out a bunch of new live streaming apps — including MLB.tv, Animal Planet Live, and Watch Disney.

If that wasn’t enough, Fire TV users will also find apps for Watch Disney Jr. and WWE Network in this update, which provide the ability to live stream the action as it happens directly to a TV. With the help of these releases, Fire TV’s app catalog has more than doubled since the device made its debut.

Customers are loving the selection on their Fire TV, telling us how easy it is to watch their favorite movies and TV shows, listen to music, and play games in their living room,” said Steve Rabuchin, Vice President of the Amazon Appstore. “And because of that, developers continue to bring great apps to the platform, with app selection more than doubling since launch.”

Amazon plans to keep the video content coming with new apps for Watch ABC and Watch ABC Family, NFL Now, A&E, Lifetime, Outside TV, Young Hollywood, North Face TV, Fashion TV, Green TV, and Dailymotion all due by the end of the year. The company is also keen to highlight the Fire TV’s great games selection, which now includes The Wolf Among Us, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, and The Bard’s Tale.
