Verizon will finally begin taking pre-orders for the LG G3 on July 10, 7 days before the handset is released. The dates were confirmed in an internal Verizon document obtained by reliable tipster @Evleaks.

The G3 is already on sale — and doing incredibly well — on LG’s home turf of Korea, and it’ll be available in select European markets from July 1. Those in the U.S. will have to wait a little longer, but it’s certainly not the lengthy delay many were fearing.

According to the documents published by @Evleaks, you’ll be able to pre-order the G3 from Verizon on July 10. It will then begin shipping on July 17. It’s unclear at this point whether the release date will be the same across all U.S. carriers, but it’s certainly possible.

The G3 is the much-anticipated successor to the G2, one of LG’s most successful smartphones to date. It’s also one of the first devices to ship with a super-sharp Quad HD display. That’s accompanied by the latest Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, and LG’s incredible new 13-megapixel camera with laser autofocus.

The G3 also addresses a lot of the concerns consumers had with the G2’s software. LG has refined its design and made its entire interface more usable, and while it’s still a world away from stock Android, it’s certainly much-improved.
