Xperia Tablet Z2 Specifications Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Xperia Tablet Z

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z was widely popular around the globe for being one of the few high-end, waterproof tablets — despite a limited reach in only select markets around the world. So it’s no surprise that Sony is planning a new model, which is expected to offer the latest Snapdragon 800 processor and Android 4.4 KitKat.

According to details published by the ever-reliable @Evleaks, the Xperia Tablet Z2 will feature a 10.1 inch Sony Triluminos display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera sensor, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

It will also pack 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset, a 6,000 mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The tablet could be shown off at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, where Sony is also expected to unveil the Xperia Z2 “Sirius” smartphone. It looks like we could have quite a lineup from the Japanese company by the end of the month, then.
