Even The Pebble Has Its Own Flappy Bird Clone

The official Flappy Bird might well be dead, but if you thought that was the last you’d see of it, you can think again.

Since the game’s creator announced it would be pulled over the weekend, countless clones have been popping up all over the place. Even the Pebble smartwatch has one called Tiny Bird, and it’s available now for free through the Pebble appstore.

Tiny Bird is nothing more than a Flappy Bird clone, so everything about this game is as close to the original as it can be. Of course, it’s in black and white because Pebble doesn’t have a color display, and there are no touchscreen controls, so you’ll need to use one of the Pebble’s physical buttons to control the game.

This makes Tiny Bird even more frustrating than Flappy Bird. I’ve been scouring the web for reviews (I don’t have a Pebble to test the game myself), and a lot of them are mixed. While some people are having a great time with it, others find it’s far too buggy.

If you really need a Flappy Bird fix on your wrist, you can download Tiny Bird now from the Pebble appstore. Those with an Android device will need the latest Pebble appstore beta to access it.
