Android 4.3 With Sense 5.5 Rolls Out To International HTC One

HTC-One-software-updates

HTC has today begun rolling out its Android 4.3 update with Sense 5.5 to the international HTC One. The update, which weighs in at 675.48MB and comes with build number “3.62.401.1,” makes a whole host of improvements and enhancements, and addresses various bugs.

The latest Android release began making its way to HTC One handsets in the United States earlier this month, but for international users, it’s been well worth the wait. While those in the U.S. received Android 4.3 with Sense 5, those on the other side of the Atlantic get the new Sense 5.5 user interface, too.

Some of the changes and improvements with this release include:

Video Highlights improvements
– Updated interface
– Add soundtracks to videos
BlinkFeed improvements
– Access recommended news from your social network
– Save articles to read later offline
– Create custom feeds from news media, Twitter and YouTube
Music improvements
– Updated interface
– Embedded music channel with new scenes

The release also brings an updated bootloader and radio.

The update is rolling out now over-the-air, so you should receive a notification when it’s ready to download to your device. Of course, those with locked devices may need to wait a little bit longer while their carrier approves the update.
