International customers who want to get their hands on the new Nexus 7 as soon as it goes on sale outside of the U.S. can now begin registering their interest in the device. Google has erected a new sign-up page that allows you to enter your email address to get “a heads up when you can get your new Google Nexus 7, on Google Play or at a retailer near you.”

Google still hasn’t confirmed international release dates for the new Nexus 7, which was announced during an Android press event last week. However, it did say that the device would be available in other countries “in the coming weeks.”

British retailers Currys and PC World have begun taking pre-orders for the device, and they’re advertising a mid-September release for the U.K. But Google is yet to confirm this date, so we don’t yet know whether that’s entirely accurate, or whether the same date might apply to other countries, too.

Currys and PC World — which are owned by Dixons Group — were launch partners for the original Nexus 7, however, so we believe that their release dates are likely to be accurate. The same goes for their prices, which are £200 for the 16GB Nexus 7, and £240 for the 32GB model.

In addition to the U.K., the new Nexus 7 is set to arrive in France, Germany, Spain, Australia, and Canada next.
