Sony is pulling all sorts out of its hat at the Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai this morning. We’ve already seen the giant Xperia Z Ultra and the SmartWatch 2, and now there’s a second smartphone to add to the list. The Xperia C S39h offers a 5-inch qHD display and dual-SIM functionality, and it’s Sony’s first smartphone to feature a MediaTek processor.

It’s a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 CPU to be exact, which is coupled with an 8-megapixel rear-facing Exmor RS camera, WCDMA and GSM connectivity, and “stunning design aesthetics in three colors with custom illuminations.”

The Xperia C S39h will be a China Unicom exclusive, and it will offer access to 3 million tracks from local music provider Duomi. While this handset won’t be making its way to other markets, there’s a possibility we’ll see other Xperia C variants for other parts of the world.

There’s no word on how much the Xperia C S39h will cost yet, or when it will go on sale.
