Android 4.2.2 Update For Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II Delayed [Rumor]

Samsung has reportedly delayed its Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II. The releases are set to bring Samsung’s latest TouchWiz user interface to the devices, along with lots of the new features that first made their debut on the Galaxy S4 back in March.

The information comes from SamMobile, a very reliable source of Samsung news, which reported on Twitter: “Samsung delayed 4.2.2 for Note II and S III. Reason new TW for S III and Note II.”

That’s all the information we have at this point; we don’t yet know why the update has been delayed, or indeed when it can be expected. But as soon as we do hear more, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.

Again, this isn’t official yet, but SamMobile has been very reliable in the past. We’ve reached out to Samsung to try and get confirmation on this.
