It’s been four whole days since Samsung last announced a new smartphone, which must be a record for the Korean electronics giant. But don’t worry — it hasn’t gone under. Today it has announced the new Galaxy Ace 3, its latest entry-level smartphone with a 4-inch display, LTE, and 8GB of internal storage.

As you’d expect from an entry-level device, the Galaxy Ace 3’s internals are very basic. There are actually two different variants — one with 3G and one with LTE — and the latter is slightly better on the inside. Here’s a rundown of both.

Galaxy Ace 3 3G Specifications

  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • 1GHz dual-core processor
  • 4-inch LCD display (480×800)
  • 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash
  • 4GB internal storage (1.77GB user accessible)
  • microSD card slot (up to 64GB)

Galaxy Ace 3 LTE Specifications

  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 4-inch LCD display (480×800)
  • 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash
  • 8GB internal storage (5GB user accessible)
  • microSD card slot (up to 64GB)

While the Galaxy Ace 3 is certainly an entry-level device, it does give those on a tight budget a chance to get their hands on Samsung’s latest TouchWiz interface and a number of its features — including S Translator, S Voice, S Travel, and Smart Stay.
