Last month we reported the good news that all HTC devices released after September of 2011 would have unlockable bootloaders. While that was all fine and dandy, it didn’t ease the pangs of users sporting pre-September 2011 devices. Luckily HTC has not abandoned support for its older devices and continues to update the HTCdev site.

If you head over to the HTCdev site, you’ll notice a slew of new devices have been added to the list of unlockables. Included in that list are devices such as the:

• HTC Desire Z
• HTC ChaCha
• HTC Aria
• Droid Incredible
• HTC Status
• T-Mobile G2

If you’re rocking one of the above devices, you can now head over to the HTCdev site and unlock your bootloader. Whether you plan on getting that extra mile out of your device or simply want to play around and experiment, having your bootloader unlocked opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
