Google updated its Google Play support pages over the weekend, and it added mentions of Google Play gift cards for the United Kingdom. At the time, however, they were only on sale in the U.S., and they couldn’t be found on the other side of the Atlantic.

But today that’s all changed — Google Play gift cards are now available from retailers in the U.K.

The picture above — snapped by a EuroDroid reader — show’s Google’s £10 and £25 cards on sale at a Tesco store, alongside their plastic rivals, the iTunes gift cards. They’re are also available in £50 denominations, according to Google, but those don’t appear in the image.

The U.K. is just the second country to get Google Play gift cards following their launch in the U.S. back in August 2012, and they come just in time for Mother’s Day this Sunday, March 10. I’m not sure a Google Play gift card is the ideal gift for mom, though.
