Wild Blood, Gameloft’s First Unreal Engine Game, Finally Finds Its Way To Android

Wild Blood was highly anticipated by mobile gamers due to it being Gameloft’s first release powered by the Unreal Engine. Naturally, when the game launched last month on iOS and not on Android, many were disappointed. I can understand if Gameloft needed some extra time to tweak things for Android, but from what I’m reading in the reviews, they didn’t seem to do a very good job of it.

The biggest complaints so far seem to be lag and the fact that Gameloft has included in-app-purchases for a mobile game that already costs $6.99. There also appears to be a few reports of force closes and freezes. Issues you would have expected Gameloft to have ironed out by now — I mean, they had a whole extra month with the game before releasing it for Android.

Wild Blood is a third-person hack-and-slash where you play as Sir Lancelot, trying to survive the armies of hell that have been unleashed upon you for your betrayal of the King.
