Chrome For Android Sees A Few Bug Fixes And Stability Improvements In Latest Update

Chrome for Android received its first update since shedding its beta tag and while it doesn’t add any great new functionality, it does take care of a few bugs and stability issues. If you head over to the Google Play Store, you’ll find the latest version of Chrome for Android as well as its listed changelog:

  • This version update includes a number of security and stability improvements
  • Location preference now integrated to system level Google apps location setting.
  • Youtube videos controls now work in full screen mode; videos continue playing after a screen lock/unlock
  • Fixes to make third-party IMEs work better with Chrome

Chrome for Android is still only available for Android 4.0 and above, so as long as your device meets those requirements, you’re all set to download the updated version from the link below. Cheers!
