A leaked OnePlus poster has revealed the OnePlus 2’s release date ahead of its official unveiling later today. If you’re one of the first to get an invite, you’ll be able to order your handset within a couple of weeks!

The OnePlus poster, pictured by MobiPicker, says the OnePlus 2 will be available in limited quantities from the company’s own “Experience” stores on August 8 — a week on Saturday. This suggests customers will be able to order their handsets on that date, or before for delivery on that date.

Of course, you’ll need an invite first. You can register your interest in one today, but OnePlus has seen an unprecedented amount of interest in its second-generation device, so you could be waiting a while for one.

The OnePlus 2 will get its official unveiling today at 7 p.m. Pacific. If you have a VR headset, you can watch the whole thing live in virtual reality, or you can enjoy the standard 360-degree stream — both of which are available through the official OnePlus app.

We’ll have full coverage of the OnePlus 2 here on Cult of Android, so be sure to check back if you won’t be available to catch the event.
