HTC One Max To Get Official Unveiling On October 15 [Rumor]

one-max-1

The One max, HTC’s answer to the Galaxy Note 3, is expected to get its official unveiling on October 15. The device has already been pictured a number of times in a whole host of leaks, and from what we know about it so far, it’s well worth getting excited about.

HTC hasn’t really dipped its toes into the phablet game before, so we’ve been eagerly anticipating the One max since it first jumped into the rumor mill early this summer. Not only is it expected to come packing the latest cutting-edge specifications — including a fingerprint scanner — but it will also feature the One’s trademark aluminum design.

The One max was spotted out in the wild again this week when it dropped by the Telecom Equipment Certification Center, China’s version of the FCC. As you can see from the images above, the device looks almost identical to the One, but it has a bigger 5.7- to 6-inch display, a fingerprint scanner, and wireless charging connectors on its right side.

Other internals are likely to include a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, BoomSound speakers, the same 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera from the One, and of course, Beats Audio integration.

According to the source behind these pictures, the One max will get its official unveiling on October 15 — just over two weeks away.
