Now that Samsung has finally uncovered the Galaxy Note 3, you’re probably wondering when you’ll be able to pick one up in the United States. Well, the first official launch dates come from AT&T and T-Mobile, both of which will be offering the device next month. T-Mobile will also be selling the counterpart Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

In case you’ve already forgotten all about it, the Galaxy Note 3 is everything you’d expect it to be — a larger, faster, and more powerful version of its successors, with lots of nice improvements both inside and out. It has a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, and a massive 3,200mAh battery.

It’s still made of plastic, but its faux leather back panel provides a more premium feel, and there are a number of official accessories like the leather wallet cases and of course, the Galaxy Gear. Samsung has also made some nice improvements to the handset’s S Pen stylus, adding lots of new features and a brand new Air Command action menu.

The Galaxy Gear is Samsung’s first Android-powered smartwatch, and despite what we previously thought, it’s only compatible with the Galaxy Note 3. It has a 1.63-inch touchscreen, a 1.9-megapixel camera, and it comes in a variety of colors.

AT&T has begun taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 today, ahead of its launch on October 1. The handset will cost you $299 up-front on a two-year contract at $35 per month.

T-Mobile is offering the device on its Simple Choice plan for just $199.99 up-front, but it’ll cost you an extra $21 per month. The company will also be selling the Galaxy Gear for $299m and both devices will be on sale on October 2.

T-Mobile hasn’t begun accepting pre-orders yet, but you can register your interest — and if you do so before September 15, you’ll be entered into a draw to win both devices.
