Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S4 Mini next month, shortly after the flagship Galaxy S4. Like the Galaxy S III Mini, the device will be a smaller, cheaper version of its big brother that will allow fans to get their hands on the latest Samsung software and features without breaking the bank.

Rumors surrounding a Galaxy S4 Mini have been circulating for a number of months — long before Samsung actually unveiled the regular Galaxy S4. And although the handset seemed inevitable after the Galaxy S III Mini, Samsung hasn’t actually confirmed it yet.

But Businessweek writer Sam Grobart has been working closely with Samsung for a recent article entitled “How Samsung Became the World’s No. 1 Smartphone Maker.” In his piece, Grobart mentions that the Galaxy S4 “will probably be another huge hit for Samsung, as will the S 4 mini that will go on sale soon after.”

Of course, this could simply be an assumption based on recent rumors and Samsung’s previous product launches. But it sounds a little more than that; it sounds like Grobart may have accidentally confirmed the upcoming release of the Galaxy S4 Mini before Samsung made it official.
