We’re all eagerly anticipating Samsung’s Unpacked event on March 14 in New York City, when it will announce the Galaxy S IV, its flagship smartphone for 2013. But to ensure you’re suitably excited, the Korean company has published a cheesy new teaser video. Check it out below.
The video introduces young Jeremy Maxwell, who is “the secret messenger of Samsung Unpacked 2013’ — whatever that means — and the first person to get their hands on the Galaxy S IV. The one-minute clip appears to be the first of many, which will likely continue the story until the device is finally unveiled next Thursday.
The video doesn’t give much away, but that’s hardly surprising given how secretive Samsung is over its latest Galaxy smartphones. Some have suggested that we get a glimpse at the Galaxy S IV at the beginning of the clip — when the guy is on the phone — but it looks more like a Galaxy Note II to me.
I’m not sure Samsung needs the cheesy videos to get everyone excited about the Galaxy S IV, but the more it gets us talking about it, the better.
