HTC-One-white-front

The President of HTC America, Jason Mackenzie, took to Twitter again to announce that the company is still on track and is now working with T-Mobile in order to bring the much-anticipated Android 4.3 update to all carrier-branded One handsets. The upgrade is expected to be pushed out over-the-air (OTA) by the “middle” of this week.

AT&T has once again broadened its horizons by upgrading and expanding its LTE connectivity services to an additional 28 locations across the U.S. The announcement was made in a sequential series of press releases on the carrier’s website. The newly announced locations mean that the operator now provides 4G coverage to over 240 million people in 437 sites, which, according to AT&T, puts it “ahead of schedule.”

Droid ZAP

Motorola is in the process of rolling out an update for its official DROID Zap application on Google Play. According to the changelog, the upgrade now allows all DROID devices running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to send Zaps to other phones. Prior to the rollout, only Motorola’s flagship handsets, the DROID Ultra, Mini and MAXX, could Zap photos to each other.

Verizon Droid DNA update

Verizon is in the process of rolling out a minor over-the-air (OTA) update for the HTC Droid DNA. Although it doesn’t bring the eagerly awaited Sense 5 or Android 4.3 to the handset, it’s still quite a significant stability update that we would advise all users to download.

Sprint is in the process of pushing out a rather hefty, much-anticipated over-the-air (OTA) update to all its carrier-branded HTC One handsets. This upgrade brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 to the device, in addition to a mass of additional bug fixes and speed optimizations, as well as a stylish new charging animation for when the handset is powered off.
