If you’ve recently typed “weather” into Google search on your mobile phone, you may have noticed Google’s neat little interactive weather visualizations. The new weather visualizations give you a look at the current forecast, precipitation, wind direction/speeds, as well as an hourly and ten-day forecast. And now, these same cool visualizations are available in search on tablets.

The Nexus 7 situation has admittedly been a frustrating one. While some people have already received their brand new Jelly Bean tablet, others are left wondering if or when theirs will arrive. Google has definitely been feeling the heat from upset customers and has issued an update for those of you who ordered your Nexus 7 on or before July 13. While this information won’t get the Nexus 7 in your hands any quicker, at least it can shed some light on when you can expect it to arrive.

In celebration of Nexus 7 shipments, Google has posted the full changelog of Android 4.1 to show us just how sweet their latest iteration of Android is. This way when someone asks you, “what’s different in Android 4.1?”, you’ll have an arsenal of bullet points to toss at them. Everything from the buttery smooth performance to Google Now is can be found in the long list of improvements. Now all we need is for the manufacturers and carriers to get moving on pushing this sweet treat out (yea, I know — we’re still waiting on ICS).

The intrawebs have been buzzing all day with Nexus 7 news. Some retailers are selling them, then they’re not selling them; a few lucky people are picking up their GameStop pre-orders, while everyone who pre-ordered from the Google Play Store is internet rioting. That’s just a short preview of the Nexus 7 gossip spewed today, and it appears Google has had enough and has decided to speak up about Nexus 7 pre-orders.

The ninjas are back, but this time, their plans for unboxing Google’s Nexus 7 are foiled by Dr. Paul (aka UFC Champion Georges St-Pierre). If you’re not familiar with the ninja unboxings, they’re a sight to see. I’m not a UFC follower so this one is a little on the weird side for me, but we’ll let you be the judge.
