HTC has revealed a new addition to its rapidly-growing lineup of dual-SIM devices. The Desire 400 was listed on the company’s Russian and Ukrainian websites, without either showing an official announcement. However, both sites reveal that the device will ship with dramatically different internal specifications, but the overall external appearance will remain the same.

A couple of  days ago, I wrote that Verizon had posted the official upgrade documents for an upcoming maintenance update for LG’s G2 on its website, and now tons of reports have emerged confirming that Big Red branded handsets have indeed, already started to receive the update.

Helped along by a sci-fi-style concept video, a new Google Glass competitor called the Atheer One shot halfway to its $100,000 crowd-funding goal in just a day.

“In a few years, the digital world with all its rich information will be completely merged with the real one,” says Atheer Labs in its Indiegogo campaign for the Atheer One, which has already raised more than $54,000. “Let’s get the future started today!”

Android 4.3 Note II

Verizon has at last started rolling out the much-anticipated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean over-the-air (OTA) update to all its carrier-branded Samsung Galaxy Note II handsets located in the United States. As you’d expect, this upgrade brings a mass of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations, however, it also incorporates an updated version of the TouchWiz user interface together with compatibility for the Galaxy Gear.
