Samsung unveiled the scaled-down variant of its former flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, back in May, 2013, and a couple of months later the handset was available to purchase in the U.K. from several retailers for £399.99. However, if you haven’t had the opportunity or the wherewithal to pick one up before now, it may be of interest to you to know that the popular online retailer, Simply Electronics, is currently offering the device with a £170 discount.

Today, Sprint officially announced that the world’s first curved self-healing smartphone, the LG G Flex, will be available to purchase in any of its bricks-and-mortar stores nationwide from Friday, February 7. The press release also included a statement from the operator notifying potential customers that they can pre-order the handset today and get it delivered by January 31.

HTC’s Executive Director of Product Management took to Twitter earlier today to announce that the Taiwanese company’s former flagship smartphone of 2012, the One X, is expected to receive its last ever update next week. The upgrade will bring the latest build of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.0 to the handset, in addition to the usual multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Google has taken to its official Twitter account to announced that its second-generation wireless charger for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) is now available from the Play Store in Australia, India, Japan and Korea.
