Adobe AIR Receives Update For Android 4.0 Support

Earlier in the month Adobe updated its Flash Player to include support for Android 4.0 and while Adobe has already announced its discontinuation of the mobile Flash platform, it will continue supporting the AIR platform. Today Adobe updated their AIR application to also include support for Ice Cream Sandwich along with a few performance improvements and bug fixes. This update is a relief to many Galaxy Nexus owners as well as the many owners whose devices will be receiving the ICS update within the next couple of months.

Adobe plans to concentrate its future efforts onto the AIR platform as well as HTML5, so if you have no idea what AIR is, it may be time to start checking it out. To grab the update just follow the Android Market Link below. Full changelog information available via source link.
