If you bought a Gear S2 so you could buy things with Samsung Pay while your smartphone stays snug in your pocket, you’re going to have to wait a little while for that dream to become a reality.

Samsung has delayed the launch of Samsung Pay for the Gear S2 until next year for users in the U.S., leaving them without one of the watch’s biggest selling points for at least another month.

When it launched Gear S2 in the U.S., Samsung promised that Samsung Pay would be available this November. But now that November has been and gone, Gear S2 owners are beginning to wonder why they still can’t pay for their morning latte using their wrist.

In response to one of those owners on Twitter, Samsung Mobile U.S. confirmed, “We’re sorry for the wait… #SamsungPay is now coming to the #GearS2 in 2016. Stay tuned for more information.”

There’s no word on why the rollout has been delayed, or when in 2016 we can expect to see it. But what we do know is that you won’t be using Samsung Pay this year on Gear S2.
