Google has released its Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory image for the new Nexus 5X, just one day after the handset made its debut in 7 markets around the world. The software is compatible with the MDAA89E, MDA89F, and MDB08I model numbers.

As a Google smartphone, Nexus 5X comes with Android 6.0 pre-installed — it’s actually the first smartphone to ship with Marshmallow — so flashing this factory image won’t bring you any new features or improvements. However, it’s still super useful.

If you’re the type of Android user who likes to test custom ROMs and other third-party tweaks, Google’s images let you easily restore your Nexus to the factory state. So you can play around as much as you want safe in the knowledge that there’s an easy route back to stock firmware.

Google’s factory images are super easy to flash, too, which is what makes the Nexus lineup so appealing to Android enthusiasts who enjoy tinkering. To download Marshmallow images for the Nexus 5X, just follow the source link below.
