The official OnePlus VR headset is now available from its online store — ahead of the OnePlus 2 unveiling in virtual reality on July 27 — and the company is giving it away for free. All you need to pay for is the shipping.

The OnePlus VR headset is based on Google Cardboard, so it’s not quite as fancy as Samsung’s Gear VR or HTC’s Vive. But it’s not just a normal Cardboard headset, either. It’s designed to be durable, is 20% smaller than other Cardboards, and has a special coating that repels dirt and oil.

It’s also compatible with most smartphones up to 6 inches in size, and it comes with everything you need for your VR experience — including lenses. What more could you want from a free Cardboard headset that turns almost any phone into a virtual reality device?

If you want one, however, you’re going to need to place your order fast. OnePlus can only produce a limited number of its Cardboard headsets, and it’s losing money on each one, so we don’t expect them to last long.

Order yours now from the OnePlus store via the source link below and you’ll only have to pay for shipping. Orders will begin shipping on July 10.
